for a long time, notices on a bill-board were sufficient to circulate company-relevant information. today, most in-house information is distributed via intranet. at ottobock, the ottobock information tower enables all employees (even those in the manufacturing department who do not work with a PC) access to this data: a tower – its form resembling the ottobock science centre in berlin – allows the display of notices and posters in paper on side one. on the second side, company brochures and prospectuses are offered. and on the third side, access to digital information on the intranet is possible via iPads – naturally password-protected. this screen data can be printed out with the printer incorporated in the tower …
